3X Faculty in Professional Studies develop and deliver medium-volume online courses in the 3X format. This role involves leading a collaborative team of teaching assistants to provide quality instruction, student advising, and maintain high academic standards in alignment with Strayer’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver large volumes of highly engaging video content for students using efficient methods.
  • Oversee and lead a team of Teaching Assistants, directing their activities.
  • Utilize innovative technology to conduct regular online sessions and provide video feedback.
  • Maintain adequate student records and ensure smooth course operation.
  • Present information on the 3X model as requested by the university.
  • Develop student outreach strategies and create text/video content for engagement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with contributing departments, including Studios and Instructional Technology.
  • Ensure adherence to university policies and procedures.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of online teaching experience.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Professional experience in the field of study (may be required based on course credentialing).
  • Healthcare experience (operational and/or administrative) preferred for relevant roles.
  • Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution (required).
  • Terminal degree may be required based on course credentialing (e.g., Doctorate in Health Services Administration, Doctor of Business Administration with emphasis in Healthcare, Doctor of Healthcare Administration, or similar).
  • Ability to travel occasionally for business needs (travel frequency varies by role; accommodations available per ADA policies).
  • Ability to work onsite in a corporate or campus location if required (includes mobility within the office).
  • For remote/hybrid roles: access to a workspace meeting role requirements (privacy, reliable internet, video conferencing, etc.).
  • Ability to work more than 40 hours per week when necessary (accommodations may be considered).
  • Proficiency in cloud-based applications (e.g., Google Docs, Sheets, Office 365).

Work Location Details

This role is designed as a remote "home office" position. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing a safe, appropriate office space with high-speed internet, a printer, and a dedicated phone line for business use.
  • Ensuring a distraction-free, productive work environment.
  • Minimal lifting requirements unless otherwise noted.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Pay

The expected starting pay range for this position is $67,700 – $101,500, with the actual offer varying based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity.
