About the Role
The Division of Renal-Electrolyte and Hypertension in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in advanced CKD and ESKD management, including in-center and home dialysis.
Qualifications
- M.D. or equivalent degree
- Board certified or board eligible in Nephrology
Responsibilities
- Teaching medical students, residents, and fellows at the Perelman School of Medicine and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching required for the academic clinician track)
- Ambulatory care and consultative hospital-based care to general nephrology patients at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and within a large, affiliated dialysis program
