Assistant Professor - Colorectal

Full-time academic faculty position in Colorectal Surgery at the Assistant Professor level, based in the Baltimore area.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care in colorectal surgery, managing both benign and malignant diseases using open, laparoscopic, and robotic techniques.
• Play an active role in surgical education, including bedside teaching, didactic instruction, and curriculum development for residents and fellows.
• Engage in clinical or translational research initiatives with opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety efforts within the division and across the Johns Hopkins Health System.
• Participate in institutional and departmental service, including committee work and professional society involvement.

Pay

The salary range for this position is based on Johns Hopkins University's good faith belief at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on geographic location, skills, work experience, internal equity, market conditions, education/training, and other factors.
