Essential Job Functions

  • Provide contributions to the department, resident teaching, and scientific endeavors.
  • Operate with the resident and one academic day working on papers, book chapters, research, and projects to the credit of UTMB.
  • Provide lectures on facial plastic and reconstructive topics.
  • Host a journal club and anatomical dissections with the residents.
  • Work with Dr. Maldonado Chapa to build his aesthetic practice.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited medical school.
  • Completed an ACGME approved residency training program in otolaryngology, with training and interest in facial plastics and reconstructive surgery.
  • Certified/Board Eligible in Otolaryngology.
  • Eligible for or have a Texas Medical License without restrictions.

Pay

Commensurate with experience.
