About the role
The Department of Neurology at Emory University School of Medicine is seeking outstanding candidates for Assistant Professor faculty positions in Neurology. Positions may involve clinical care, teaching, research, or a combination thereof, consistent with the candidate’s expertise and the mission of the department.
Responsibilities
- Clinical care in general neurology and/or subspecialty practice
- Teaching and mentoring of medical students, residents, fellows, and trainees
- Scholarly activity, including clinical or basic science research
- Participation in departmental, institutional, and professional service activities
Qualifications
- MD, DO, or equivalent terminal degree
- Board certified or board eligible in Neurology
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Georgia
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in patient care, education, and/or research
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Completed an accredited fellowship, as applicable
Requirements
Note: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion.
