About the role
The University of Georgia School of Law invites applications to fill one or more tenure-track or tenured positions at the rank of assistant professor, associate professor, or professor. The positions will begin in August 2027, with a possibility of a January 1, 2028, start date.
Responsibilities
- Produce and/or publish scholarly research.
- Percentage Of Time: 50
- Instruct School of Law courses.
- Percentage Of Time: 40
- Service commitment to public or Law School.
- Percentage Of Time: 10
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited Law School, Doctor of the Science of Law (J.S.D.), Doctor of Juridical Science (S.J.D.), or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.).
Qualifications
- Commitment to producing world-class scholarship, providing first-rate legal education, and engaging in meaningful service.
- Demonstrated potential for excellence in scholarship, teaching, and service for the rank of Associate Professor or Professor.
- An established track record of scholarly publications or scholarly potential.
