Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor DOQ (Clinical)
About the role
The Department of Dermatology at the University of Utah, School of Medicine is seeking a full-time faculty member with a passion for Immunodermatology. The ideal candidate must be an MD with subspecialty board certification in Dermatological Immunology/Diagnostic and Laboratory Immunology, Dermatopathology, Anatomic Pathology, or Clinical Pathology. Preference is given to Dermatologists with an Immunology background. The candidate should also have laboratory experience.
Responsibilities
- See patients in the clinical setting
- Serve as a mentor to medical students and residents in the dermatology field
- Participate in research activities
- Teach dermatology residents
Requirements
This position is in the clinical track and rank is dependent upon experience. The candidate must have laboratory experience and be a Dermatologist with an Immunology background. The candidate must hold an MD degree and be board certified in one of the listed specialties.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to academic medicine and a desire to contribute to the educational mission of the department. They should also have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Skills
Strong skills in laboratory immunology, dermatopathology, and dermatology are essential. Proficiency in clinical research and teaching is preferred.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
