Assistant Professor – Artificial Intelligence

About the role

This position involves teaching specific courses across various programs, guiding and mentoring students, preparing students for interviews, planning and delivering learning and development initiatives, conducting research, and supporting admissions and placements activities.

Responsibilities

• Teach specific courses across programs
• Mentor and guide students both inside and outside the classroom
• Prepare students for interviews with external organizations
• Plan and deliver learning and development initiatives for students
• Counsel students
• Conduct research, write, and publish research papers and cases in the domain
• Support the admissions and placements activities at the school
• Manage academic administration as assigned (exam management, class scheduling)
• Communicate with past, present, and future students of Woxsen and other relevant stakeholders
• Perform any other relevant duties and responsibilities as required by the school

Requirements

• Ph.D. from a reputed institute or engineering school with 2 years of teaching or industry experience
• M.Tech. with 5 or more years of teaching/industry experience in the field

Qualifications

• M.Tech. with 5 or more years of teaching/industry experience in the field
• Ph.D., from a reputed institute or engineering school with 2 years of teaching or industry experience

Desired Profile

• Ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
• Adequate research background
• Willingness to stay on campus (90 Kms from Hyderabad)
