Assistant Professor- Adult Clinical Neuropsychologist

About the role

The Department of Neurology at Marshall University’s School of Medicine is seeking a lifespan Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our growing department, which includes a board certified (ABPP) adult neuropsychologist, 9 adult neurologists, and 2 pediatric neurologists. The Department of Neurology is part of the most comprehensive healthcare provider group in the region (Marshall Health provider based practice of Cabell Huntington Hospital) and provides services for individuals with Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, neurodegenerative disorders, stroke, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, neuromuscular disorders, and headaches.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations to a pediatric or lifespan population with a wide variety of cognitive and/or psychiatric disorders.
• Accept referrals from providers throughout the Marshall Health provider group and throughout the region.
• Develop specialty interests in cognitive rehabilitation, traumatic brain injury, stroke, brain tumors, and developmental disorders.
• Engage in research activities.
• Teach medical students and residents.
