About the role

We are seeking faculty colleagues with interdisciplinary, sociotechnical systems research interests. Candidates should be able to articulate a research agenda that fits within the broader research interests of the iSchool and demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a highly interdisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach at all levels, including courses in the school's bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degree programs.
• Experience with teaching online, as well as face-to-face, is preferred.
• Teach 2 courses per semester (fall and spring) each academic year.
• Advise students and serve on School, College, and University committees.

Requirements

Portfolios of research and teaching could include human-computer interaction, cybersecurity, human-centered computing, user experience (UX), data management, data science, social, and cultural informatics.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in a relevant field and a strong record of scholarly achievement and teaching effectiveness.
