About the role

Aids the Operations Manager in overseeing daily operations. Oversees drivers and support staff, schedules, trains, and ensures compliance. Acts as a liaison for operational issues.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership of drivers and support staff
  • Scheduling and training of operational personnel
  • Administration of training programs
  • Design, implementation, and maintenance of safety programs, policies, and procedures

Requirements

  • Associate Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school
  • Two years related work experience; corresponding years of experience may be considered as a substitute for the level of education desired
  • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B with Passenger Endorsement; CDL preferred or must be willing to obtain
  • Must receive a negative result from a DOT pre-employment drug screen
  • Must pass a DOT pre-employment physical
  • Occasional travel to other PDRTA offices and local and overnight out-of-town travel required
  • Utilize company cell phone and laptop for communication outside of normal office hours
