About the Role

Supervises ambulatory operations to optimize patient care and support organizational goals. Builds and maintains utilization and productivity reports to achieve performance targets. Oversees human resources functions including orientation, education, disciplinary procedures, and training. Conducts survey readiness activities, budget management, and payroll administration. Ensures standardized care delivery by supporting impactful work streams, data analysis, and resource coordination. Supervises multidisciplinary clinical teams and emergency preparedness programs. Contributes to improving operations and technology processes while implementing performance metrics aligned with department initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Recommends developmental opportunities for team members and builds collaborative, cross-functional relationships.
  • Solicits and acts on performance feedback; provides team members with feedback, mentoring, and coaching to drive performance improvement.

  • Supervises and coordinates daily activities of designated work teams or units by monitoring execution and completion of tactical action items and work assignments; ensures adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Aligns team efforts and standards; measures progress in achieving results; determines and carries out processes and methodologies; resolves escalated issues.
  • Develops work plans to meet business priorities and deadlines; coordinates, obtains, and distributes resources.
  • Removes obstacles impacting performance; identifies and recommends improvement opportunities; influences teams to execute in alignment with operational objectives.
  • Facilitates team meetings and management decisions, considering compliance timelines and financial commitments.
  • Uses and provides feedback on standard utilization and productivity reports to achieve performance targets; interprets data and takes action.
  • Supervises human resources including recruitment, selection, orientation, and employee management.
  • Conducts survey and compliance readiness activities, including mock rounds and issue mitigation, to maintain compliance and regulatory standards; delivers requested audit documentation and reports.
  • Manages team budgets and expenditures; handles payroll entry.
  • Supports large and/or complex work streams with significant program impact; supervises data collection and uses data to inform plan development and implementation.
  • Coordinates and monitors daily operational activities involving patient care management.
  • Ensures appropriate assignment and utilization of resources in clinical areas.
  • Supervises multidisciplinary ambulatory team(s).
  • Helps implement emergency preparedness programs; ensures teams’ emergency preparedness and recovery plans are current and staff are trained.
  • Coaches the team and monitors implementation and delivery of objectives.
  • Plans the work of teams on strategic projects designed to remediate issues and improve quality, service, affordability, and/or operating efficiency.
  • Responds to escalations to improve the performance of operations system processes.
  • Implements performance metrics to track the success of strategic improvement projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
  • Minimum one (1) year of customer or member/patient service experience.
  • Associates degree in business, nursing, health care, or a directly related field AND minimum two (2) years of experience in business operations, clinical health care, or a directly related field OR minimum three (3) years of experience in business operations, clinical health care, or a directly related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • One (1) year of project/program management and/or implementation-related experience.

  • Shift: Day (Monday - Friday, 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM)
