Assistant Nurse Manager - Pediatric Critical Care Transport

About the role

Seeking an RN with neonatal/pediatric critical care experience for a leadership role. This position oversees daily operations, education, and clinical activities of transport registered nurses.

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing, performance evaluations, and ensure quality patient care tailored to age and developmental needs
• Staff hiring, training, scheduling, and conducting performance reviews
• Contribute to departmental budgeting and operational goals
• Travel between rural hospitals
• Manage staff productivity and support departmental goals to improve pediatric health outcomes

Qualifications

• RN licensure with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred)
• 3+ years of pediatric transport or critical care experience in NICU, PICU, or Pediatric ER
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience
• Preferred: 5+ years in pediatric transport, critical care, or neonatal ICU, and a BSN
