About the role
Join our healthcare team as an Assistant RN Manager, providing leadership and operational oversight for a Medical Surgical Unit, ICU, Float Pool, and Patient Transport services. In this role, you will support approximately 140 caregivers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Managing clinical and non-clinical staff
- Ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulations
- Implementing policies
- Coaching and mentoring staff
- Supporting quality healthcare delivery
- Working closely with the Nurse Manager
- Contributing to unit planning, organization, and evaluation
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BS or BSN)
- Required: RN license in the state of Oregon
- Required: BLS certification
- Preferred: 2+ years of recent acute care experience
- Preferred: Charge nurse experience
- Preferred: Leadership background
- Preferred: Shared governance familiarity
