Assistant Nurse Manager - Maternity - Full Time Night Shift

Job Summary

CoxHealth is a leading healthcare system serving 25 counties across southwest Missouri and northern Arkansas. The organization includes six hospitals, five emergency rooms, and over 80 clinics.

About the Role

The successful candidate will utilize the nursing process to effectively assess the needs of patients, identify a plan of care, and implement and evaluate the care given. They will provide direct and indirect care to patients and lead the patient care team toward goal achievement in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess patient needs and develop care plans
• Provides direct and indirect patient care
• Led the patient care team towards goal achievement
• Ensures compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy

Requirements

• Preferred: At least five years of clinical experience, one year of charge nurse experience, and one year experience in the area of specialization

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

• Exhibits valuable time management skills
• Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills
• Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations

• Required: RN license active in the state of Missouri
