Assistant Nurse Manager GYN ONC

Role Overview: Provides specialized nursing care to female patients in a 24-bed GYN Oncology unit, managing moderate to high acuity cases involving chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, symptom, pain, palliative, and hospice care. Coordinates with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, advanced practice providers, social workers, pharmacy, spiritual care, and physicians to deliver comprehensive patient care. Key Responsibilities Manage staff through hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development to meet departmental goals.Participate in staffing, budgeting, and resource management to support operational efficiency.Provide and oversee patient care based on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plans, ensuring documentation compliance.Develop and implement collaborative care plans tailored to patient needs across developmental stages.Monitor staff productivity, conduct performance reviews, and address disciplinary issues as necessary. Qualifications & Skills BSN required; RN license essential.2-5 years of nursing experience; supervisory experience preferred for advanced roles.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and professionalism.
