This position involves coordinating patient care for a specialized 24-bed unit focused on female health issues, primarily GYN Oncology. Responsibilities include managing staff, overseeing patient care plans, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining equipment. The role requires leadership in hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staffing management to support departmental goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage personnel, including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and conducting professional development.
• Develop and monitor staffing, budget adherence, and respond to operational changes.
• Provide and oversee patient care tailored to age and developmental needs, ensuring documentation compliance.
• Create collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatments.
• Oversee staff productivity, payroll, and communication, including performance reviews and disciplinary actions.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required, RN license needed.
• 2-5 years of experience, with preferred 5-10 years and supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• This role is safety-sensitive, requiring alertness and adherence to safety protocols.
