Assistant Nurse Manager - GYN Oncology

Role Overview: This position involves coordinating patient care and managing nursing staff within a specialized 24-bed unit focused on female-related issues, primarily GYN Oncology. Responsibilities Manage and evaluate nursing staff, including hiring, training, and professional development.Ensure departmental productivity, adherence to budgets, and operational goals.Oversee patient care plans, ensuring interventions meet patients' needs and documentation is accurate.Collaborate on staffing, scheduling, and resource management, including payroll and performance reviews.Lead team meetings, communicate effectively, and foster a collaborative care environment. Qualifications & Skills BSN required, with 2-5 years of nursing experience; RN license essential. Preferred candidates have 5-10 years of experience and less than 2 years in supervisory roles. Key Duties: Provide high-acuity, complex care involving chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, pain management, and supportive services, coordinated by a multidisciplinary team. Ensure safety, compliance, and quality standards are maintained.
