Role Overview This leadership position supports the Gen Med I (GI) and Gen Med II (Renal/Endocrine) areas at a children's hospital. It involves managing nursing staff, coordinating patient care, overseeing staffing and operational goals, and ensuring quality service delivery. Responsibilities Manage personnel including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and professional development.Develop and adhere to staffing, revenue, and expense budgets, adjusting to business needs.Coordinate and oversee patient care plans based on assessments and medical treatments.Monitor staff productivity, manage daily staffing assignments, and lead staff communications and meetings.Conduct performance reviews, address disciplinary actions, and support staff development. Qualifications & Skills Minimum education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; preferred Bachelor's degree in Nursing.Experience: 2-5 years hospital RN experience; 5-10 years preferred, with supervisory experience for advanced roles.Licenses: Valid RN license required.Preferred: Leadership experience, exceptional communication, and organizational skills.
