Assistant Nurse Manager - General Medicine

Role Overview Provides leadership and manages nursing staff in the Gen Med I (GI) and Gen Med II (Renal/Endocrine) areas at a pediatric hospital. Responsibilities include staffing, staff development, performance evaluations, and ensuring high-quality patient care tailored to age and developmental needs. Oversees staff productivity, manages schedules, and participates in budget development and adherence. Coordinates patient care plans based on assessments and medical treatments. Handles administrative tasks such as payroll, staff communication, and disciplinary actions. Supports department operational goals and maintains compliance with policies.
