About the role

The position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining equipment, and overseeing departmental operations within an emergency department setting.

Responsibilities

• Leads hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and supporting professional development of staff.
• Participates in staffing, budgeting, and responding to operational changes to meet financial goals.
• Ensures delivery of patient care aligned with age-specific needs and documentation policies.
• Develops and implements collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatments.
• Manages staff productivity, reviews staffing hours, handles payroll, conducts performance reviews, and addresses disciplinary actions.
• Supports overall department goals, enhances team performance, and fosters effective communication.

Qualifications

• Required: RN license, Nursing Diploma or Associates, 2–5 years of experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, 5–10 years experience, and less than 2 years supervisor experience.
