Assistant Nurse Manager - Emergency Department
About the Role
Coordinates patient care, personnel management, equipment maintenance, and statistical tracking in a dynamic emergency department setting. Manages staff recruitment, training, work assignments, performance evaluations, and professional development plans. Ensures departmental productivity aligns with operational goals and assists in developing staffing, revenue, and expense budgets.
Provides direct patient care based on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plans tailored to patients' age and developmental needs. Creates and implements collaborative care plans and documents interventions per policy.
Oversees staff scheduling, payroll updates, time card reconciliation, and communication; makes staffing and overtime decisions. Conducts performance reviews, drafts corrective actions, and monitors staff compliance. Maintains safety standards, requiring constant alertness and safe work practices.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (RN license).
