Position Highlights
- Partner with unit Managers to develop action plans in areas including quality and safety improvements, care affordability and great patient and team member experiences
- Play a vital role on the Emergency Department leadership team, shaping the long-term vision and operational excellence
- Support and foster a “Kinder” culture that values teamwork, respect, and compassionate care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient experience, clinical outcomes, operational efficiencies, and staff engagement
- Lead quality and safety improvement initiatives, develop action plans, and analyze outcomes to drive continuous improvement
- Provide clinical and operational guidance, inspiring excellence across the department
Schedule & Flexibility
- Full time, 40 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling options to support work-life balance
- Required to round on off-shift hours
- Evening and weekend availability for rotational call to ensure 24/7 coverage and support
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree required
- Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
- Required Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
- Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies
- 3-5 years of nursing experience preferred
- Emergency Department experience preferred
- Previous leadership experience preferred
