Role Overview: The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is a registered nurse who supports clinical and operational activities within a designated shift, reporting to the unit director/manager. Key Responsibilities: Assist in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating unit services; provide managerial presence across shifts; utilize the nursing process to ensure quality patient care; and support team leadership efforts. Qualifications & Skills: Must have a Bachelor's Degree or be a graduate of a School of Nursing, with an active Alaska RN license and BLS certification. Preferred experience includes recent clinical practice in acute care, charge nurse roles, leadership, and shared governance.
