About the Role
The Assistant Nurse Manager is a registered nurse who supports unit operations, staff development, and patient care excellence.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the nurse manager to promote staff recruitment, retention, and clinical outcomes.
- Leads daily activities, participates in performance reviews, coaching, and counseling.
- Ensures care delivery aligns with standards, supports budget management, and fosters teamwork and collaboration.
- Advocates for evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and compliance with regulations.
- Mentors staff, encourages professional growth, and models professional nursing standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing.
- RN licensure (single-state or multi-state).
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience.
- Preferred certification in nursing administration.
