Nurse Manager for a 40-bed Cardiovascular Progressive Care (4 Heart) unit.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations
- Ensure safe and quality nursing care
- Allocate resources
- Promote evidence-based practice
- Lead clinical supervision
- Collaborate on organizational initiatives
- Support staff development
- Foster a respectful environment
- Co-manage a team of 56 employees
- Participate in strategic planning and quality improvement
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Promote research integration
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN or equivalent); Master’s preferred
- Current RN licensure and national certification in specialty within one year
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- Minimum of five years recent nursing experience, with two years in clinical leadership
