About the role
The Department of Athletics and Recreation is searching for a part-time Assistant Cross Country Track & Field Coach.
Responsibilities
- Aid in all levels of prospective student-athlete recruitment
- Aid in off-season training, in-season training, and strength & conditioning for all athletes, specifically sprinters and jumpers
- Assist with team travel, including driving passenger vans for meets and practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with NCAA Division III rules
- Ability to work weekends is crucial
- Ability to work well in a diverse environment
- Valid Driver’s License and comfortable driving a 12-passenger van
- Experience competing at the NCAA, NAIA, or NJCAA level
- At least one year coaching experience at the college/university level with sprints, hurdles, and/or multi’s OR at least three years coaching at the high school level
