Assistant Men's Soccer Coach

Position Summary

Basic Function: Assistant to Head Coach in all aspects of an Old Dominion Athletic Conference Division III sports program.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Aid the head coach in day-to-day operations of the team and program
• Aid in practice planning
• Aid in positional instruction as defined by the head coach
• Evaluate post-practice and game situations
• Aid in recruiting
• Coordinate team travel with head coach supervision
• Perform other related duties as assigned

This coaching is expected to be in person.

Minimum Qualifications

• Coaching experience of at least 3 years required
• Bachelor's degree required

Preferred Qualifications

• Collegiate playing or previous collegiate or high school coaching experience of at least five years required
• Master's degree preferred

• Strong work ethic
• Desire to work in a Division III environment
