Position Summary
Basic Function: Assistant to Head Coach in all aspects of an Old Dominion Athletic Conference Division III sports program.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Aid the head coach in day-to-day operations of the team and program
- Aid in practice planning
- Aid in positional instruction as defined by the head coach
- Evaluate post-practice and game situations
- Aid in recruiting
- Coordinate team travel with head coach supervision
- Perform other related duties as assigned
This coaching is expected to be in person.
Minimum Qualifications
- Coaching experience of at least 3 years required
- Bachelor's degree required
Preferred Qualifications
- Collegiate playing or previous collegiate or high school coaching experience of at least five years required
- Master's degree preferred
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong work ethic
- Desire to work in a Division III environment
