About the Role
Assists the head coach in the administration and leadership of the Guilford College basketball program by providing coaching and instruction, recruiting, and facilitation of training and practice activities. Additional responsibilities include game management and summer camps.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate and teach advanced skills, knowledge, and strategies of basketball
- Understand and apply NCAA recruiting and compliance procedures
- Exercise independent discretion and judgment in teaching methods
- Work independently without direct supervision
- Manage game-day operations and summer camps
Requirements
- College degree or equivalent level of education, training, and work experience
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication skills
