Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing practices
- Video review and opponent scouting
- Game planning
- Recruit prospective student-athletes
- Communicate with individual players, administrators, and recruits
- Manage road game travel, including driving the team to road games in Pratt Institute vans
- Follow NCAA Division III and Atlantic East Conference rules and regulations
- Pass the annual Coaches Exam
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Basketball Coaching / Playing experience
- Availability to work nights and weekends for games and practices is crucial
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to drive a 12-passenger van
- Ability to thrive in a diverse and fast-paced environment is crucial
- AED/CPR/First Aid Certification
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Qualifications
- Preferred: Experience playing on, managing, and/or coaching a college or pro team
- Preferred: Familiarity with NCAA Division III rules
- Preferred: Familiarity with Synergy and Hudl
- Preferred: Recruiting experience
Pay
Part-time stipend position, paid bi-weekly.
Schedule
Availability to work nights and weekends for games and practices is crucial.
