About the role
The Food and Beverage Assistant Manager will oversee the food and beverage outlet within the hotel. Responsibilities may include scheduling, forecasting and training, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws as well as all operating procedures.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage outlet roster.
- Manage service through outlet and allocate sections.
- Conducting pre-service meetings.
- Ensuring all opening, handover and closing checklists are complete.
- Ensure that all relevant guest information is being communicated to staff and the kitchen.
- Daily administrative and reporting.
- Developing and maintaining service standards.
- Managing and ordering inventory.
Requirements
A Successful candidate will have:
- Supervisor experience
- Experience in a similar environment
- Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred
- Strong organizational skills, the ability to work with a flexible work schedule, be a team player and a dynamic leader
- Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills
- A valid and current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
