Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1923 that helps people get jobs across Northwest Washington by offering high-quality free job training, education and job placement. The organization employs over 2,000 people, operates five job-training centers, 23 nonprofit retail stores and more than 27 donation sites in King, Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom and Kitsap Counties. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Ensure all warehouse and storage processes meet daily requirements.
- Ensures product flow and service are maintained daily, determines work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites workflow.
- Selects, trains, and directs the activities of employees setting expectations to provide an efficient, congenial, cost effective work force.
- Promotes productivity by following up with employees on work results.
- Plans and implements warehouse and storage layout according to raw and salvage inventory and supplies needed.
- Works effectively and communicates with other Goodwill departments as needed.
- Maintains equipment according to recommended procedures and policies.
- Schedules and maintains periodic inventories.
- Prepare reports by collecting, documenting and summarizing information.
- Complete projects by planning, organizing and monitoring assignments.
- Holds regular departmental meetings.
- Ensures Goodwill Industries International (GII) compliance and updates.
- Maintain reliable attendance.
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, college degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience leading teams in warehouse environment.
- Strong knowledge of production and warehouse facilities.
- Experience with basic accounting practices and bookkeeping.
- Strong communication skills, verbal, and written Customer Service skills.
