About the Role

The Assistant Manager Food and Beverage will oversee the hotel’s food and beverage outlet, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as all operating procedures. Strong communication, analytical skills, and food and beverage cost control experience are essential.

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture positive, professional relationships with guests and colleagues.
• Create and manage outlet rosters.
• Manage service through the outlet and allocate sections.
• Conduct pre-service meetings.
• Ensure all opening, handover, and closing checklists are completed.
• Communicate relevant guest information to colleagues and the kitchen.
• Handle daily administrative tasks and reporting.
• Develop and maintain service standards.
• Manage and order inventory.

Qualifications

• Supervisor experience.
• Experience in a similar upscale food and beverage environment.
• Wine/beverage knowledge preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Dynamic leadership and teamwork capabilities.
• Good problem-solving, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
• A valid and current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
