Assistant Manager

Position Summary

Under general supervision, the Assistant Manager assists the General Manager in all operational & financial aspects of the restaurant.

Primary Responsibilities

- Supervise preparation, cooking, & serving of food with utmost concern for food quality. - Assist with weekly work schedule & set-up organization of crew to properly handle business for different shifts. - Order inventory & supplies, & check deliveries for accuracy; process invoices for payment. - Properly complete weekly team member payroll sheets. - Ensure delivery of the highest levels of guest service & resolve all guest complaints. - Oversee store safety & implement proper sanitation practices. - Ensure proper cash handling & reporting of all monies to the corporate office. - Provide on-the-floor supervision to oversee line production & guest service. - Assist in hiring, coaching, training, motivating, evaluating & terminating crewmembers as necessary. - Make a positive contribution to the profits of the company. - Oversee the completion & accuracy of all store reporting. - Coach, train, & motivate Associate Manager to help them develop skills to become an Assistant Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

- High School Diploma required, some college preferred. - Management level experience in the food service industry preferred. - Experience with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, & Excel. - Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, nights, & holidays as required.
