About the role

The Assistant Leasing & Marketing Manager position is within the Campus Apartments team, which has been dedicated to providing excellent student housing since 1958. This role is part of a dynamic and supportive team that values passion, enthusiasm, and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in the day-to-day operations to maintain customer satisfaction, financial stability, and property condition
  • Support leasing efforts to achieve full lease-ups and maintain high occupancy levels
  • Maintain accurate records of property availability and assist with the lease renewal process
  • Manage property licenses and renewals through coordination with legal counsel and city officials
  • Handle the check-out process, ensuring compliance with final account statements and conducting inspections of vacated units
  • Investigate and address resident concerns promptly, maintaining good public relations and reporting issues to the General Manager
  • Prepare and submit weekly reports on property performance as requested
  • Develop and implement advertising/marketing strategies to enhance the property's market presence
  • Contribute to resident retention initiatives
  • Perform general administrative tasks including filing, typing, answering phones, and using various office equipment
  • Collaborate with legal counsel and city officials on property licensing and renewal processes
  • Communicate with residents, applicants, employees, and vendors in a courteous manner
  • Operate various office equipment and software including a personal computer, fax machine, copier, telephone, and key card system

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
  • Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Entrata (preferred)
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities
  • Ability to follow through with paperwork and meet deadlines
  • Positive, professional, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Logical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Qualifications

  • Experience in leasing and marketing
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws
  • Ability to type accurately and keep records correctly
  • Understanding of numerical analysis and document preparation
  • Ability to operate various office equipment and software
