About the role
The Assistant Leasing & Marketing Manager position at Campus Apartments is open for an enthusiastic and outgoing individual who loves to have fun at work, works hard, thinks outside the box, and is passionate about providing superb housing for college students.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the day-to-day operations of the property to ensure customer satisfaction, fiscal stability, and good physical condition.
- Avoid leasing issues by managing property availability, including mailing renewal offers, logging responses, and maintaining records.
- Manage property licenses and the renewal process through liaison with legal counsel and the City.
- Handle the check-out process to ensure compliance with final account statements, including accepting keys and conducting inspections.
- Ensure accurate and efficient lease signings and resident check-ins, investigate and respond to complaints in a timely manner, and maintain good public relations.
- Prepare weekly reports related to property performance as required.
- Develop and implement advertising/marketing programs and resident retention strategies.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, typing, answering phones, and using various office equipment.
- Operate a range of office machines and software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Follow all federal, state, and local laws, and demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
- Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
- Ability to operate various office equipment and software.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Positive, professional, and enthusiastic attitude.
Qualifications
- Experience in leasing and marketing.
- Knowledge of Entrata or similar property management systems.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
