The Office of the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards
We are looking for an organised and detail-focused Assistant Investigations & Complaints Officer to join our small and dedicated team.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Commissioner's work in handling investigations
- Managing stakeholder correspondence
- Delivering engagement activities across and beyond the Parliamentary community
- Working closely with operational Investigation Managers
- Providing administrative support for investigations
- Responding to enquiries and correspondence from members of the public and internal stakeholders
- Helping to coordinate the Commissioner's outreach and engagement programme
Requirements
- Excellent attention to accuracy and detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of arranging workshops, conferences or similar events
- Excellent organisational skills
- Demonstrates political sensitivity and is able to exercise independent judgement to maintain impartiality
- The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
- The ability to learn a set of rules and apply them to different situations

Pay
The salary for this role is competitive and will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
The role is offered on a hybrid working basis, with an expectation of spending 40% of your time in the office.
