About the role
The Housekeeping Manager oversees the entire housekeeping area, including public areas and night cleaning. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety and security policies and procedures, managing staff training, development, and scheduling, and promoting a positive atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing housekeeping operations
- Manage staff training, development, and scheduling
- Ensure compliance with safety and security policies and procedures
- Train staff on turndown service, special needs of VIP Guests, and foreign dignitaries
- Promote a customer and associate satisfaction atmosphere
Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy guest needs in a fast-paced environment
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people from diverse backgrounds
- 2-3 years of progressive hotel Rooms Management experience
- Service-oriented style with professional presentation skills
- Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset
- High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leadership, effective communication, and exceptional customer service
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills

$64,500 - $70,000 annually
