Position Summary
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) partners with the General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, develop team members, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and drive financial results. The AGM is expected to lead from the front, maintain high standards, and prepare for future advancement into a General Manager role.Compensation & Benefits

- Operations Leadership:
- Lead shifts and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Deliver excellent guest service and resolve guest concerns.
- Maintain Kneaders food quality and presentation standards.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization throughout the café.
- Execute company promotions, catering programs, and seasonal initiatives.
- Team Leadership:
- Train, coach, and develop team members and shift leaders.
- Hold employees accountable to performance expectations.
- Aid with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and retention.
- Foster a positive, high-performance culture.
- Lead by example in attitude, work ethic, and professionalism.
- Financial Performance:
- Aid with inventory, ordering, and waste control.
- Monitor sales trends and identify opportunities for growth.
- Protect company assets and ensure accurate cash handling procedures.
- Administrative Responsibilities:
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly operational checklists.
- Ensure compliance with all health department and company standards.
- Communicate effectively with the General Manager and ownership team.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of restaurant leadership experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to coach and develop others.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
