About the role

This in-person, on-site role reports to the General Manager and involves administrative, organizational, and operational duties to ensure smooth community operations.
Responsibilities
- Uphold Sentral’s standards, best practices, policies, and procedures, with a focus on excellence in customer service
- Assume General Manager’s duties and authority in their absence, following company and community guidelines
- Build rapport with residents and guests to ensure they always feel valued
- Respond to resident and guest questions and concerns in a timely manner
- Manage the resident lease renewal process and retention results
- Monitor and respond to all online reviews per company procedure and policy
- Ensure compliance with all company, local, state, and federal regulations and safety rules
- Correct unsafe conditions promptly
- Maintain accurate monthly commission sheets for leases, renewals, and delinquencies
- Complete the accounting month-end process and assist with monthly financial statement reporting
- Provide general clerical assistance to the community office
- Manage the maintenance and custodial teams at the property
- Schedule and oversee maintenance calls to apartment units
- Maintain a continuous understanding of the property’s condition related to capital, repairs, and vacant status
- Oversee the planning and execution of resident and guest events
- Assist and provide backup support to the leasing floor
- Monitor advertising source effectiveness
- Conduct market surveys and shop competitive communities
- Perform other related duties and assignments as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
- Minimum of one year of experience in a customer service-related industry and one year of apartment leasing experience, or a combination of accounting skills/education with customer service experience
- Strong attention to detail and sales ability
- Knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations; willingness to obtain certification within six months
- Ability to support and contribute to the community team
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent time management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Computer literacy with proficiency in email, MS Office, and related communication tools
- Positive attitude and ability to maintain composure under all circumstances
- Willingness to participate in training to comply with new or existing laws
- Ability to diffuse and respond to customer concerns to avoid escalation
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
Physical Requirements
- Work in indoor and outdoor spaces, with and without covering
- Move throughout the property for extended periods of time
- Transport boxes and equipment weighing up to 20 pounds
- Communicate effectively with others in the building
- Observe details in surrounding areas and on screens
