Role Overview
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the daily operations of a high-energy car wash location, reporting directly to the General Manager (GM).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and assist in store management, ensuring exceptional customer service and quality car wash execution.
- Support team building, staff recruitment, scheduling, and administrative tasks.
- Oversee equipment maintenance, site audits, and safety protocols.
- Foster staff development through onboarding, feedback, and ongoing training.
- Perform 'Manager on Duty' duties and handle customer engagement, promotions, and events.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.
- 1-2 years retail management experience with proven leadership skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing diverse teams and personnel matters.
- Technical aptitude with basic mechanical knowledge and proficiency in office software.
- Strong understanding of retail finance, P&L management, and strategic planning.
Additional Requirements
- Must complete a video screening.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
- The role involves physical activity, safety awareness, and working in loud environments.
