Assistant General Manager

About the role

Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) with 2 years of AGM experience to join their team at Beatrix, a neighborhood coffeehouse, restaurant, and meeting place.

Responsibilities

• Avoid day-to-day business operations
• Assist with training, recruiting, HR, and administrative duties
• Organize, run, and supervise smooth and efficient daily opening and closing shifts
• Provide guidance and leadership to hourly and management teams
• Respond immediately and effectively to guest and employee needs and feedback
• Partner with the General Manager to manage costs, drive sales, and grow the business
• Perform regular and ad hoc inventories of food, beverage, and restaurant supplies
• Place food, beverage, and restaurant supply orders and accept and inspect deliveries
• Model and promote teamwork across all teams
• Deal with challenges with tact and good judgment, responding with patience and courtesy
• Work various days and shifts, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends

Requirements

• 5+ years of restaurant management experience
• 2+ years of AGM experience in a full-service restaurant
• Skilled in leading and developing teams
• Experienced with inventory and BOH systems

Schedule

Work a variety of days and shifts (including early mornings, late nights and weekends) at multiple sites with or without overnight travel, as needed

Pay

USD $70,000.00 - USD $90,000.00 /Yr.
