Assistant General Manager

About the role

Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants is hiring an Assistant General Manager for Aba Nashville, a Mediterranean restaurant located in the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood. The position requires 2 years of AGM experience.

Responsibilities

• Avoids waste and ensures efficient use of resources
• Assists with training, recruiting, HR and administrative duties
• Assists and prepares financial statements
• Assists the General Manager with customer service inquiries
• Provides guidance and leadership to hourly and management teams
• Partners with the General Manager and management team to interview, hire, onboard, train, supervise and develop all Back-of-the-House (BOH) employees and teams
• Performs regular and ad hoc inventories of food, beverage and restaurant supplies
• Plays an active role in managing costs, driving sales and growing the business in support of financial goals
• Trains and develops BOH employees and teams as needed
• Works a variety of days and shifts (including early mornings, late nights and weekends)

Requirements

• 5+ years of restaurant management experience
• 2+ years of AGM experience in a full-service restaurant
• Skilled in leading and developing teams
• Experienced with inventory and BOH systems

Pay

USD $70,000.00 - USD $90,000.00 /Yr.

Schedule

Works a variety of days and shifts (including early mornings, late nights and weekends)
