About the role
As an Assistant General Manager with Paradies Lagardère at the Paris Cafe, you will help bring the Paris Cafe experience to life as part of the management team. You will manage daily store operations, drive financial success, and build great teams while delighting customers through human connection. This role offers autonomy while leveraging world-class brand and business practices.
The Paris Cafe by Jean-Georges is located in the heart of the 1962 Eero Saarinen-designed TWA Terminal, encompassing the original Paris Cafe and Lisbon Lounge spaces—once outfitted by famed Parisian industrial designer Raymond Loewy.
Responsibilities

- Manage daily store operations autonomously while adhering to brand and business best practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of retail or customer service management experience.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Entrepreneurial mentality with experience in a sales-focused environment.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach and mentor team members with professional maturity.
- Minimum High School diploma or GED.
- Obtain and maintain current Serve Safe Food Manager’s Certification within six months of hire/promotion.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. and perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, reaching, climbing on a ladder, and walking long distances.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in an environment with varying temperatures.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, Microsoft Office Suite, and mathematics.
Schedule
- Full-time role requiring more than 40 hours per week, including variable hours such as early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Schedule is determined by business needs.
