Key Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager in daily hotel operations
- Supervise department heads and ensure operational standards are maintained
- Monitor guest satisfaction, online reviews, and service recovery processes
- Support hiring, training, scheduling, and employee performance management
- Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards, SOPs, and hotel policies
- Conduct property inspections and oversee maintenance and FF&E conditions
- Support budgeting, audits, inventory control, and business planning
- Cook up with sales teams for corporate business opportunities and guest relations
- Provide leadership, guidance, and operational support across all hotel departments
- Maintain strong communication with ownership, management, and hotel staff
Requirements
- Marriott full-service hotel experience required
- Strong leadership and hotel operations background
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team management skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management or related field preferred
- 5-10 years of hospitality industry experience required
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience as Assistant General Manager, Executive Assistant Manager, or similar leadership role preferred
