We’re looking for an Assistant F&B Manager who effectively lead shifts to ensure excellent service and operations are consistently achieved. This is the top priority for the Assistant Manager position. This Assistant F&B Manager also embodies the Hyatt values and has previous hospitality experience. The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will assist to manage at The Rooftop Bar.
Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing the operations of the rooftop bar.
- Develop and maintain an enticing beverage menu, including cocktails, wines, and spirits.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain cost control.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate events and promotions to attract and retain customers.
- Coach and mentor staff as appropriate.
- Monitor financial performance related to beverage sales and prepare reports for senior management.
- Assist and process weekly payroll/Wisely tip outs.
- Perform scheduling, forecasting and training.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws as well as all operating procedures.
- Coordinate special events at the hotel.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar, lounge or restaurant setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Extensive knowledge of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and spirits.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency in inventory management and cost control.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and alcohol regulations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to twist, lean, bend, crouch.
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds.
- Food and Beverage cost control experience is helpful.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $70,304.00 - $78,750.00. This is the pay range for this position that The Seabird Resort and Mission Pacific Hotel reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based
