Assistant Float

About the role

The Assistant Float Teacher supports the Lead Teacher in meeting the emotional and developmental needs of children in their care, implements curriculum, and communicates with parents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment
• Promote a Christ-centered atmosphere within the classroom
• Help with daily tasks including diaper changes, bathroom breaks, behavior management, redirection, field trips, snack preparation, and minor cleaning

Qualifications

• Passion for working with young children
• Experience with children aged birth to 5 years

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to manage behavior effectively
• Knowledge of early childhood development
