Assistant Facility Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Aid in managing daily facility operations and transportation activities
• Supervise, train, and motivate drivers, warehouse personnel, and facility staff
• Coordinate delivery schedules and ensure adequate driver and equipment availability
• Maintain compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local transportation regulations
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized facility environment
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and business partners
• Support employee performance through coaching, recognition, and corrective action when necessary
• Participate in strategic planning and process improvement initiatives
• Provide operational support and perform other duties as assigned by the facility manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
• Experience with dock, warehouse, and transportation management
• At least 10 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or warehouse industry
• TMS web-based knowledge
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
