Assistant Facility Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

• Affords assistance in maintaining relationships with all residents, ensuring consistent application of property policies.
• Show units and run applications for screening;
• Affords assistance in supervising the Leasing Staff and Maintenance Personnel, if appropriate;
• Affords assistance in preparing regular market surveys;
• Affords assistance in preparing weekly and monthly reports;
• Reviews rental applications and lease forms for accuracy and compliance with resident policy;
• Affords assistance to residents with lease forms;
• Proposes recommendations to enhance marketing and leasing programs;
• Logs appropriate accounting transactions as they take place;
• Affords acceptance of screening fees;
• Answers the phone and takes messages;
• Affords collection of rent, posting, and depositing as directed.

• Appearance compatible with image of property, positive attitude, good sense of humor, energetic, assertive and capable role model for subordinates;
• Demonstrated integrity on personal as well as professional level;
• Exceptional communication skills;
• Attentive to details;
• Ability to interact with a wide range of people;
• Ability to solve problems involving residents, personnel, finances, equipment failure, emergency situations, etc.
• Ability and willingness to substitute for any leasing responsibility, unit cleaning, grounds pick-up, receptionist, and other work as may be reasonably directed by the Property Manager.
