ASSISTANT FACILITIES DIRECTOR - PHOENIX, AZ

Job Summary

Working as a Facilities Director, you are responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling functions and activities of plant operations and building renovations.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviews and evaluates existing programs, services, policies and procedures
• Makes sure the flow and quality of work are completed on time and follow facility standards and regulations using computerized programs for preventive and corrective maintenance, construction projects, financial management, and energy controls
• Manages departmental budgets, including the utilities energy savings program
• Provides guidance, training, and motivation to staff
• Builds positive relationships with clients
• Monitors work performance and prepares performance evaluations for personnel

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent related experience preferred
• Minimum of 5 years engineering maintenance experience at Manager level required
• Experience in manufacturing and construction management preferred
